It's been awhile....So goes life

It has been awhile since I have blogged; I guess you could say life got busy! Still is busy; but I have been having a feeling of wanting to write for some time. I will continue to blog here when I feel the desire but I also now have the desire to write a book.

I guess I have always had that desire, for as long as I can remember, but it is something that continues to nag on mind and my heart. Over the years others have told me to write a book but now I am feeling the draw to do it for myself. Perhaps to find some healing from different events in my life, perhaps to share my experiences with others in hopes to help someone else; but in the end I think this will be a journey that not only I go on but those who decide to read it will go along with me.

Sometimes when we are standing on the edge of a cliff, afraid to fly, we must trust the fall and believe in what will hold our wings up! When thinking about how this will look for myself I think about all the things I have went through, all things I have shared with others and all the things I have learned and I know that for me; my faith, my belief in the feelings of hope and my understanding of many different life circumstances helps me to know that even if I fail; I need to at least jump and try to fly!

Life is scary, there are things you may be thinking about right now that you are afraid to do. The things that scare you the most are the things that could change your life! What are you waiting for? Why are you waiting for the green light? Life is short, we don't get second chances to go through this thing called life; don't you want to make the most of it?

So what am I saying? I am saying "jump"! Take that new job, quit that old job, ask the person out, get married, explore this country or even another, try that new recipe, learn that new hobby and do the thing you are scared to do! Fail or fly, you won't regret it but if you never try you may regret it forever!
